This was a great question and it really made us think about it! It's a kinda-yes, kinda-no thing we settled on. Since Aerith was an assist character, she could come in with semi-memories, things like flashes of battles. So she'd recognize who was there but then not know who they were (outside of her castmates per se) or where they were. Sort of like the Wizard of Oz effect... I had this crazy dream and you were there and you were there, and you too. So she might not know the plot of the games, but she could ID the warriors.
